[It's around eleven or so at night when this message goes onto the network, about an hour later than Emily is used to staying up. It's her first night having left New Bark Town for the first time, and she isn't used to traveling or being alone outside. It's... honestly scary. But when she goes onto the network, she's trying her hardest to sound calm.]

Is anyone else awake? I can't sleep. I finally left New Bark Town. Traveling is fun! A lot more fun than I could ever have imagined. Everything is just so exciting and there is so much to see!

[But now it's night time, and everything is catching up to her and it's dark and scary and weh.]

I haven't ever slept outside before. There are so many noises... I keep thinking- [That her kidnappers are going to find her again] how exciting it will be to make it to the next town.

Does anyone want to talk for a while, maybe? Even if it is late?

Can I ask why you won't be able to adjust to sleep much? That sounds like it would be annoying...

It is nice to meet you.

I don't mind it much. Before I was brought here, my form did not require much sleep. I slept perhaps two nights a week. Despite the fact that my human body does need more, I seem to have adjusted to doing without.

That sounds really nice! I wish I could get away with not sleeping that much. Can I ask you something? Are you... one of those trolls, then? The ones I've heard about.

And yes. Well, formerly. We all get forced into these human bodies upon arrival. And I wasn't precisely just a troll anymore before I was brought here.
