Second Drawing; Voice

[It's around eleven or so at night when this message goes onto the network, about an hour later than Emily is used to staying up. It's her first night having left New Bark Town for the first time, and she isn't used to traveling or being alone outside. It's... honestly scary. But when she goes onto the network, she's trying her hardest to sound calm.]

Is anyone else awake? I can't sleep. I finally left New Bark Town. Traveling is fun! A lot more fun than I could ever have imagined. Everything is just so exciting and there is so much to see!

[But now it's night time, and everything is catching up to her and it's dark and scary and weh.]

I haven't ever slept outside before. There are so many noises... I keep thinking- [That her kidnappers are going to find her again] how exciting it will be to make it to the next town.

Does anyone want to talk for a while, maybe? Even if it is late?

Nah. I just kind of have a hard time sleeping, period. I don't know why.

That sounds rough! But I know the feeling. Do you really not know, or is it...something you don't wanna talk about? I understand, if it's the last thing.

I dunno. I mean- Sometimes I get really weird nightmares and then sometimes I just don't get very tired.

Oh... okay. Between you and me? And don't tell anyone I told you that I said this, but. I know how scary nightmares can be!

I don't like people knowing I'm scared sometimes, though, so please don't tell anyone, okay?
